my handsome teenager and my scarecrow tactics

i'm still trying to handle this in an adult way.  noah got his hair styled by some "girls" in their "locker room".  also, here's our tree so far.  i reallly like the scarecrow on top.  angels are so 1900's.  we are waiting to finish decorating until ava comes.  why isn't everything auto capitalizing?  why does time suck so bad?  oh god, here come the tears....

We had a nice breakfast where we ran into our poor neighbors who we are accidentally driving crazy.  And then Blake thought it'd be a good idea to get a tree since our house smells like melted plastic.  Oh and then to carry it 8 blocks home.  Hahaha.Oh we have fun.

(ps i blew my nose and black stuff was all in it from all the smoke i inhaled!!!)

Saved by the fire

I was about to have a late night snack (disobeying my diet rules) and Blake was being sweet and heating up food when a fire ensued. Evidently Blake was absent on the fire prevention day in elementary school. The fire was everywhere and making things even more dramatic was the sound of the fire alarm. I thought I might die from smoke inhalation. But as it turns out, did not. Anyway here are some pictures if the aftermath.

Sorta funny.  Doesn't make it ok.  But you know you gotta find humor in everything.  Or else it's just sadness and misery all the time.

So, Blake was holding me down and tickling me and I was hollering for him to stop and Bunny attacked him from behind! She thought he was hurting me and scratched his butt! i love my bunny rabbit.

Also, I just noticed that my phone updates haven't been working. Sucks because I had some pretty good updates.

Presley just loves costume changes! She never needs help deciding what to wear.  Featiiiive dogs!  (that just made me think of festive dogs in space! Stay tuned to see what I come up with next.)

Presley thinks the tree was put up for her!  I just can NOT get enough of festive dogs this year. Please!  Oh pa laaaze send me pictures of your favorite festive dogs!

This is Baxter, he is excited about shopping for his friends and loves a good gag gift. 

Some more bad weather in Seattle. (what do seattlites think good weather is?) 

And this is another episode of....WHY the tiny plate?! When you got a lot of messy stuff to eat, why put it all on a tiny ass plate?  It's not like the size is going to cut down on the amount of dishes you have to do.  And I just end up with it on my fat lap.  

This is my little niece, Olive.  I miss OLive's mom    Gizmo wasn't posing right, luckily she had Olive to help her out.

If anyone out there wants to know how to make the perfect green potato slime, don't hesitate to call me. Blake wouldn't know the answer he always makes things with, you know "normal" consistencies.

I feel like Festive dogs make the holiday season feel warm and cozy. I also feel like cats prefer the spring.

Now we have Alley the irresistible in holiday sportswear.  She loves to nap on her parents bed and Mexican food but hates thunderstorms and firecrackers. Alley can't wait for holiday leftovers and looks forward to seeing her best friend, me.

Tu-die for!

Not even a bashful party girl like Presley could hide this sexy dress! 

So I've decided to crochet Presley a sweater dress. I think she will look nice in noah's favorite colors, black and white. Not exactly sure how I'm going to accomplish straps for it but i'm confidant in my crocheting and designing abilities. Here are some pictures of it. Notice the accidental ruffle on the bottom.

You know how famous people generally fail at normal jobs, lives? I think I must be famous. GOT to be more careful.

This is Ava. She just adores wearing her monkey costume any time of the year. 

Presly is a little shy in her mrs. Claus outfit but can't wait to join her friends and family in holiday partying!  

Next we have raider. He lives in east Texas. He is dressed as an elf this year. He loves spreading Christmas cheer!

Some festive dogs!   This is gizmo. She lives in Lubbock, Texas and loves showing off her petite figure. 

Diet day 3. I NEED to lose about thirty lbs. Yesterday did ok. Had one delux cheese burger, only a few fries and some popcorn. Day before ate a bk chicken sandwich and about a cup in a half of pasta.  This is my first meal of today. Black beans, one tomato, bit of onion and cilantro.  If anyone can lose weight in a hurry, I CAN. 

Our first Kirby!  Works perfect. Best 25 dollar investment I've seen all year!
