This little guy or gal really impressed me. His legs moved like legs for heavens sakes. And his face is so cute. What is he, you may ask...I don't know but I feel like we really understood each other that day. Maybe every day. I don't know we just met.
Awww can't get enough of looking at the mountains and sharing my peaks of the peeks with you. (that was a little annoying but so are my animal videos)
Blake wanted to ice skate after walking around the town. I didn't and Ava was worried about the fate of her fingers. The place we went to smelled like feet and shoes! And i knew a big fall was in store for me. Whew I made it without going. Hopefully we can take Ava (and Noah!) to a real ice pond or....I don't know.
I feel like it is my duty as a human being to warn others of easy mistakes that could cause harm or to simply waste your time . Yesterday I had one of the morning shows on for background noise and I caught the last part about curing dry hair/scalp. I tuned in for this last part since I suffer from dry itchy scalp. And what I heard was, bananas, olive oil and coconut oil can taste good and free your head from the clutches of dry and itchy scalp. Today I mashed a banana and added olive and coconut oils and covered my scalp and hair with this miracle cure. And I left it on for a good hour and a half. (don't bother getting the recipe) And then got in the shower to smooth it out and reap the benefits of morning tv. When I touched my hair it felt like long strands of clumped leather. Or maybe even beef jerky. I proceeded to "smooth" it out with shampoo. And then a comb and then conditioner...clumps of boogery bits were all over the bathroom and stopping the drain, in addition to many, many of my own dear hairs. And now as I write this I'm finding more banana boogers. I think what i'm trying to say is, next time I will blend it instead of mash it.
"they gave me beads so I gave them my land.". "I have land, tobacco, spices, meat, farm goods and gold.". "I'm not happy, I'm enslaved." (not sure why Van schools taught him that the native Americans were happy about the land issue???)
While Ava and I were patiently waiting for Blakey's interview to finish, Ava and I got creative with our time. She loves teaching. And is really talented at it! I enjoyed her visit so much. Also, Blake got the job! Go huskies!
